long before you started clicking your bic lighters and pulling furiously on your fags the  art of smoking was glamorous.

Vogue Perle Menthe.

So this is my first review on this blog today and it is my first time trying Vogue Perle, I have however smoked several of the Vogue Superslim varieties and and was very impressed.



My first impressions on the packaging was that it was not that different to the other Vogue packs apart from the fact that its thicker and shorter to the others. However upon closer inspection you notice that the pack is textured and embossed. making it very nice to hold and touch. I have always enjoyed the way that Vogue packs open with the curving design, although because of the shape i do think it would be easier if it was attached to the side instead of the back. As always the look nice and as the brand name would suggest its very attractive.

They are a demi-slim cigarette meaning that they are not as long as the the 100mm superslims the brand produces but they are longer than a regular king size (85mm). They are also thicker than superslim but slimmer than regular cigarettes. The fact that they are not as long as the 100s does slightly put me off as i am a firm believer in the longer the better, these would however make a good cigarette break smoke if you do not get long.

Taste wise I found them stronger than vogue super-slim menthe and they do deliver a good throat hit for lack of a better word. Although they are not unpleasant i would prefer the menthol additive to be stronger. I Have just realized what the taste reminds me of and that's Chesterfield menthols but a tad more creamy and with a hint of vanilla. They are very easy to draw on but do burn down quickly.

Overall i wont say that they are my favorites, they are good quality for the price (retailing around £6.00) but they are definitely smoke-able. However apart from the satin textured tip they do lack the glamor that i like in a cigarette.
